INTERNATIONAL WEEK ?
International Week is a week organised by 4 students in the TC department at the IUT in Vannes. This week is part of the school program and allows students to discover Anglo-Saxon culture in an educational and interactive way.
The concept is simple: for one week, all the students in the TC department come together around a theme. They must only speak English! Even the professors must speak Shakespeare’s language.
Activities are organised so that all students take an active part and develop their competence in English and in all the subjects proposed in the department.
Every year … a new competition !
Every year, International Week gives students the chance to practice their English in a fun way, but also to get together.
There’s nothing like team competition to strengthen bonds!
That’s why, every year the students are divided into several teams to compete against each other on a theme announced at the beginning of the week.
A tradition … The International Dinner
The long-awaited evening of the week remains the International dinner !
For the second year in a row, we invited students and teachers from the TC department to join us at the Les Charlie’s restaurant in Vannes.
The menu offers a variety of dishes from several countries : English, Spanish …
Several forms of entertainment are planned to make this an unforgettable evening.
An INTERNATIONAL perceptive !
The IUT of Vannes is fond of international activities. A lot of semesters are proposed in different countries of the world like Canada, Spain,The Czech Republic, Portugal.
